June 1st, 2003 - Hehehehe, I'm all giddy.

Fifty Foot Midget played the Seneca Creek Battle of the Bands last night, and fucking rocked. Review to the right.

They got another show coming up this Saturday at the U-Turn in DC. Starts at 3, I dunno when they're going on. They're playing with good ol' buddies The Pulse, The MKH, and the Agressors. Go check them out, cause I probably can't.

In Hobojew news, we have a drummer (Charlie Rouse), and probably a guitarist (Sergio), we just gotta coordinate and start jamming. Should be back soon.

Show Review

Fifty Foot Midget was fucking ROBBED! With that said, the band played the (probably last) Seneca Creek Battle of the Bands on Saturday night. Some other shit bands played before them, nu-metal and Drive Thru lamers, then they went on and were just...woah. They played a couple new songs; No More Power, which is available somewhere on their website, and Take it Away, along with such mainstays as Show Me the Right Way, Why Live, Spongbob, and Antidisestablishmentarianism. Although they denied my requests for Real Heroes and I Don't Want You, it was still an amazing performance, and they were easily the best band there. They came in second to last. Makes me wish my band played, if they thought FFM was noise. But anyway, don't quit fellas, ya'll rock, yeehaw!
